SBU series hydraulic breaker piston is the core power transmission component for heavy-duty Atlas Copco SBU large hydraulic breakers, covering full lineup models from SBU220 to SBU2000. It converts hydraulic pressure into impact energy, widely used in open pit hard rock mining, primary ore crushing, large reinforced concrete dismantling and tunnel excavation projects.

Manufactured from premium 42CrMo alloy steel via one-piece integral forging and multi-stage gradient heat treatment. The striking end retains ultra-high surface hardness for long-term wear resistance, while the main rod body maintains superior toughness to avoid transverse fracture under continuous heavy impact loads.

The whole piston surface undergoes precision CNC turning and fine mirror grinding to achieve ultra-smooth outer circle and tight matching tolerance with cylinder inner bore. Perfect concentric fit lowers friction loss, reduces hydraulic oil leakage and extends service life of matching seal kits and guide bushing.

Each piston passes chemical composition inspection, hardness test and continuous impact endurance verification to meet OEM interchange standards.
